Description

  • Collaborate deeply with 1–2 engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and test planning to execution and release sign-off.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for front-end and back-end features, including integration, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to prioritize testing efforts, clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, and coordinate Business Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with SDETs to expand and maintain automated test coverage for new features and regression suites.
  • Perform API testing and validation (requests and responses) and use PostgreSQL for data validation and query-based verification.
  • Collaborate with other manual QA engineers on cross-team and cross-business-unit projects to ensure consistency and coverage.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate quality and compliance risks to ensure products meet regulatory and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA experience with a focus on manual testing (Black Box, White Box, Grey Box).
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger, including validation of requests and responses.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL for data validation and query writing.
  • Experience designing, executing, and reporting test cases for complex systems (front-end and back-end).
  • Experience with test case management tools, preferably TestRail.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) and at least basic Polish.
  • Availability in the afternoons with occasional evening meetings to support multinational team communication.
  • Nice to haves: experience in a product company/startup/scale-up, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, experience with Jira and agile testing methodologies, and exposure to big data/data warehouse environments.
