Description

  • Improve AWS security configurations across services such as IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and Amazon Inspector.
  • Manage and maintain security tools including EDR, MDM, DLP, and compliance agents.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure laptops and endpoints comply with security baselines.
  • Review SOC provider alerts, investigate incidents, and drive final remediation actions.
  • Perform vulnerability management and coordinate patching efforts with IT and DevOps.
  • Improve and maintain WAF rules, anti-bot protections, and other application-layer defenses.
  • Support access reviews, PCI-DSS reviews, and recurring monthly and quarterly security tasks.
  • Document and implement security configurations for cloud and SaaS tools.
  • Contribute to Backup, DRP, and BCP testing with Infra and IT teams.
  • Provide input to security roadmap planning based on operational needs and improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Cloud Security.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS security configuration and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with EDR, MDM, DLP, and identity management tools such as SSO and MFA.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting security agents on endpoints.
  • Knowledge of incident investigation and coordination with SOC services.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes.
  • Comfortable collaborating with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code security, especially Terraform (bonus).
  • Knowledge of container security, including Kubernetes and Helm (bonus).
  • Experience automating security tasks with scripts or CI/CD integrations (bonus).
  • Exposure to SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001 evidence collection and audits (bonus).
  • Interest in continuous improvement and tool optimization (bonus).
