Description

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality code to production on a short development cycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to devise effective engineering solutions.
  • Support clients at conferences and events when possible.
  • Work on web application development using PHP, Zend Framework, jQuery, and MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Contribute to technical problem-solving and help anticipate and resolve issues in an autonomous environment.
  • Participate in the full remote engineering workflow and coordinate effectively across distributed teams.

Requirements

  • MS/BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in Computer Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing web applications with PHP 7 and 8.
  • Experience with Zend Framework 1 or a fork such as zf1-future.
  • Experience with jQuery.
  • Experience with MySQL or MariaDB.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are appreciated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems and stay calm under pressure.
  • Bonus points for familiarity with conference and event management, complex SQL queries, Linux server administration, OAuth, REST APIs, Atlassian Jira, and Atlassian Bitbucket.
