Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers while fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Create an environment that supports each engineer’s professional and personal growth.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
  • Partner with Product Management and Design to deliver new features and strong user experiences.
  • Collaborate with product management, architects, and other engineering teams to define the technical vision and roadmap.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable cloud-based SOAR solutions.
  • Ensure high standards of software quality and performance.
  • Stay current on cloud security and SIEM trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work with Ops/SRE and customer success teams to respond to customer escalations and production issues.
  • Communicate technical matters clearly to stakeholders outside engineering, including customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building and leading teams, including hiring, retaining, and managing performance.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in engineering and management.
  • Strong technical skills to effectively lead an engineering team.
  • Ability to handle challenges in demanding conditions and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders under tight schedules.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience delivering SaaS services in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Preferred experience with cybersecurity products such as SIEM and SOAR.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, microservices, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
  • B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.
