Description

  • Support and enable direct sales teams and reseller channel partners on the SugarCRM application and platform.
  • Lead the pre-sale portion of the sales cycle, including discovery, requirements analysis, high-level solution design, and handoff to implementation teams.
  • Communicate SugarCRM’s value to prospective customers through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Contribute to RFP and tender responses by writing product, technical architecture, solution, and delivery methodology content.
  • Provide product application support to inside, channel, and direct sales teams.
  • Translate customer business objectives and requirements into a platform vision and solution strategy.
  • Promote CRM best practices and advocate for SugarCRM’s extensibility.
  • Develop and maintain partner relationships.
  • Support sales and demo training for selected business partners.
  • Speak at trade conferences and support product marketing efforts internally and externally.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in presales or a similar role.
  • Experience with SaaS solution sales and configuration.
  • General understanding of technical systems architecture, stacks, and platforms.
  • Proven track record of successful presales engagements with C-level customer executives.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise business applications.
  • Familiarity with RFP and tender best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional listening, presentation, demonstration, and objection-handling abilities.
  • Strong teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quick responses.
  • Ability to work with local and remote teams across time zones and travel up to 25%.
  • 3+ years of customer relationship management experience preferred.
  • Marketing automation experience preferred.
  • Business analytics exposure preferred.
  • BS/BA in a relevant field preferred.

  • $140,000 - $170,000 base salary with up to $30,000 in variable compensation, for a maximum $200,000 OTE.
