Description

  • Identify, cultivate, and close opportunities with advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, recordkeepers, CPAs, and other intermediaries.
  • Expand Strongpoint Partners’ distribution network across the assigned territory.
  • Build long-term relationships with advisors, recordkeepers, CPAs, ERISA attorneys, and consultants.
  • Execute targeted sales strategies and local events to increase awareness of TPA and retirement consulting services.
  • Provide consultative guidance on plan design, compliance, and administrative efficiency.
  • Monitor retirement industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with actuarial consulting, operations, and platform teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and report on opportunities, forecasts, and business development activity in HubSpot.

Requirements

  • Experience in field retirement plan sales, financial services distribution, or institutional sales.
  • Internal or external financial services sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with third-party administration, defined contribution, defined benefit, and cash balance plans.
  • Established relationships with financial advisors, recordkeepers, or retirement plan consultants preferred.
  • Strong presentation, networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to explain complex retirement plan, financial illustration, and actuarial concepts clearly.
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and pipeline management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven, and collaborative approach to business development.
  • Willingness to learn retirement plan structures and regulations.
  • Must be located in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.
