Description

  • Design and implement software solutions that translate advanced algorithms into prototype and operational systems.
  • Enhance the software architecture needed to run advanced algorithms on real-time hardware.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and subject matter experts to integrate mature hardware systems and advanced algorithms.
  • Implement and test real-time applications using open architecture software principles.
  • Develop code that integrates hardware systems and supports system-level functionality.
  • Work closely with test leads to support modeling, simulation, and live test activities, including LVC infrastructure.
  • Support and brief customers throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop engineer-facing tools, processes, algorithms, processing chains, and related software support capabilities to improve long-term development.

Requirements

  • BS with 5+ years of experience or MS with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in modern C++.
  • Proficiency in test-driven development and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with cross-platform development on Windows, Linux, and iOS, along with version control workflows.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with limited guidance.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with open architecture systems such as OMS/UCI and A-GRA preferred.
  • Experience with radar or EO/IR systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with real-time algorithm optimization, especially for radar or remote sensing applications, preferred.
  • Experience with software quality tools such as static/dynamic analysis and automated testing frameworks preferred.
