Description

  • Build and ship robust backend services and frontends with direct product impact.
  • Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and easy to maintain.
  • Collaborate across developers, designers, quality engineers, DevOps engineers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end value.
  • Model business domains into clean and performant data structures.
  • Implement new features and scale existing product capabilities.
  • Work with content sources such as Photoshop, Figma, and After Effects, as well as the AI-enabled web editor.
  • Lead technical delivery on initiatives within a domain or project.
  • Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices.
  • Lead by example in engineering excellence, pragmatism, and shared ownership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack products with TypeScript/JavaScript and PHP (Laravel).
  • Strong backend development experience with Node.js and PHP (Laravel).
  • Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks.
  • Solid experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Comfort working in monorepo environments and modular architectures.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles.
  • Confidence in making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting engineers (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Affinity with rendering technologies such as ffmpeg, motion graphics and visual effects software such as After Effects, or experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, or public cloud such as GCP (nice to have).
