Description

  • Own distributed systems problems end-to-end, from inception through production launch.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and prioritize high-impact projects.
  • Improve engineering quality, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Design solutions addressing performance, concurrency, reliability, and data infrastructure challenges.
  • Mentor and develop engineers while learning from experienced engineering peers.
  • Maintain a strong focus on observability, performance, ease of use, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Strong distributed systems fundamentals and experience solving problems at scale.
  • Experience taking ideas from concept through implementation and production delivery.
  • Java experience is preferred; the platform is Java-based but Java is not required.
  • Strong ownership of software quality, reliability, observability, performance, and usability.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on the company’s most important problems.
  • Curiosity, positivity, resilience, and comfort working through ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Comfort using AI tools in everyday engineering workflows, including building, debugging, testing, and problem-solving.
