Description

  • Own and evolve the product operating model, including standards, processes, structures, and operating rhythms for data product delivery.
  • Lead the Product + Analysis function, including AI/Technical PMs and analysts, with clarity, cohesion, and shared direction.
  • Diagnose current operating gaps and drive a start/stop/continue improvement plan within 60–90 days without interrupting delivery.
  • Define and manage the end-to-end data product lifecycle, including artifacts, stage gates, and decision rights.
  • Run intake, triage, governance, and evidence-based prioritization across the data product portfolio.
  • Partner with Engineering & Platform to align roadmaps, enforce SLAs/SLOs, and support platform reliability and observability.
  • Build productive relationships with domain stakeholders and enterprise governance bodies.
  • Personally lead strategy and delivery for select high-impact data products during key transitions or strategic moments.
  • Work with senior PMs and analysts to shape requirements, define success metrics, support prototyping, and validate outputs.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track product maturity, throughput, quality, adoption, satisfaction, and documentation compliance.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Delivery Management, or similar strategy/execution leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to quickly assess an active organization and implement a pragmatic operating improvement plan.
  • Demonstrated success leading senior contributors, including PMs, analysts, and engineers, through influence and partnership.
  • Experience building and governing product operating models, including prioritization frameworks, lifecycle discipline, and governance.
  • Track record of translating strategy into execution in a player–coach role with hands-on ownership of critical workstreams.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with evolving roles, processes, and technologies.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams.
  • Experience in data product management, analytics product development, or enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, or semantic layers preferred.
  • Familiarity with federated governance, data mesh, and AI-enabled product workflows preferred.
  • Experience in Finance & Strategy or a related enterprise data domain preferred.
  • Product Owner or Product Management certification, such as CSPO, preferred.
