Description

  • Provide individualized and small-group coaching, tutoring, workshops, remediation, and supplemental instruction.
  • Support students’ clinical judgment, critical thinking, content mastery, study habits, and test-taking strategies.
  • Analyze ATI, assessment, engagement, and academic-performance data to identify learning gaps and at-risk students.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized remediation plans aligned with course objectives and the NCLEX-RN test plan.
  • Facilitate ATI Capstone, Virtual-ATI, and related remediation activities while monitoring NCLEX-readiness benchmarks.
  • Conduct proactive outreach and follow-up with students experiencing academic risk, disengagement, or performance concerns.
  • Create NCLEX-aligned study guides, workshops, and academic-support resources.
  • Document student interactions, outreach, remediation, engagement, and progress accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Director of NCLEX, nursing faculty, and program leadership on student support and quality improvement.
  • Maintain approximately 30 hours per week of direct student support within a 40-hour remote schedule, including occasional evening and weekend hours.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Experience supporting nursing students through teaching, tutoring, remediation, academic coaching, clinical instruction, or NCLEX preparation.
  • Hands-on experience with ATI or a comparable nursing assessment and NCLEX-preparation platform.
  • Ability to interpret performance data, identify learning gaps, and create targeted remediation plans.
  • Working knowledge of NCLEX-RN preparation, Next Generation NCLEX clinical judgment, and item formats.
  • Knowledge of nursing education, test-taking strategies, clinical judgment, and evidence-based remediation practices.
  • Strong coaching, communication, organization, relationship-building, initiative, accountability, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of appointments while completing preparation, documentation, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Availability during established Pacific Time hours, with schedule flexibility and occasional evening or weekend support.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; successful background check, employment verification, and transcript submission required.
  • Experience with ATI reporting, Comprehensive Predictor, Content Mastery Series, ATI Capstone, Virtual-ATI, or Individual Performance Profiles preferred.
  • Experience supporting at-risk students, developing remediation materials, training others on ATI, or applying NGN principles preferred.
