Description

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data sources to understand schemas, data quality, relationships, metadata, formats, and business rules.
  • Perform data profiling to assess completeness, accuracy, uniqueness, and consistency.
  • Develop matching and reconciliation logic across systems using keys, rules, and fuzzy matching techniques.
  • Design and implement master data management processes for golden records.
  • Support master data creation and maintenance across domains such as customer, product, and asset.
  • Handle data deduplication and standardization.
  • Build scalable data pipelines in Azure Data Factory for ingesting, transforming, and cleansing data.
  • Manage efficient data movement across staging, processing, and analytical layers.
  • Work closely with business analysts, data stewards, and application owners to define data ownership and requirements.
  • Enforce data governance standards, monitor workflows, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance and logging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data integration.
  • Proven experience in data profiling, matching, and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Expertise in SQL for querying, transforming, and optimizing complex datasets.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or PySpark for data processing and pipeline development.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for building and managing data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics (preferred).
  • Strong expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or Apache NiFi.
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and metadata management.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Experience with data cataloging tools such as Azure Purview or Alation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and normalization techniques (preferred).
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA (preferred).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party data service integration (preferred).
