Description

Perform on-site installation, preventative maintenance, and repair work for field service customers.
Prioritise and execute emergency repairs, maintenance visits, and installations in coordination with the Service and Support Scheduler.
Deliver timely, clear, and customer-focused service communication to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Travel at short notice to support other Field Service Engineers when needed.
Complete all required service documentation accurately and on time.
Escalate product quality issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Work closely with the Sales team and Field Applications Specialists.
Meet defined KPIs related to performance and impact.
Manage a varied workload across a diverse product portfolio in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems is essential.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors is desirable.
Experience with liquid handling systems is desirable.
Ability to travel extensively in the UK and Europe, including at least 60% overnight travel.
Strong customer focus and excellent customer-facing skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workload collaboratively.
A proactive, flexible, and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work as a team player.
Engineering Apprenticeship plus HNC, or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Valid passport and driving licence.
Based in the UK, ideally in the London, Cambridge, or Oxford area, with proximity to a major airport advantageous.
