Description

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy high-performance enterprise web applications.
  • Own assigned tasks and user stories through timely completion and delivery against requirements.
  • Collaborate with teammates to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Conduct code reviews, incorporate feedback, and support junior developers through pairing and pull-request reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and support production systems as needed.
  • Document technical designs, implementation details, and development best practices.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to knowledge-sharing and professional development activities.
  • Communicate progress, risks, concerns, and requirements with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of software development experience focused on Java backend web applications.
  • Proficiency writing clean, maintainable, testable code using industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for user interfaces and interactive web applications.
  • Familiarity with modern development and deployment methodologies, AWS services, and cloud computing concepts.
  • Ability and demonstrated interest in continuous learning and applying new knowledge to technical challenges.
  • Successful completion of a Java and JavaScript take-home assessment involving live coding and multiple-choice questions.
  • Final candidates must complete background and identity verification checks.
  • Experience with enterprise utility applications or full-stack development is beneficial.
