Description

Deliver backend services and data features that meet performance goals and support the team roadmap.
Own code from design through production, with responsibility for reliability and maintainability.
Work independently on moderately complex tasks across backend and data domains.
Build, optimize, and maintain services and pipelines for the advertising platform.
Turn product and stakeholder requirements into reliable features in collaboration with engineers and PMs.
Participate in code reviews and team planning.
Continuously improve technical skills and contribute ideas to improve the team.
Optimize services and queries for speed and reliability.
Build performant APIs to serve large datasets.

Requirements

2-5 years of backend development experience.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
Experience with DBT, Snowflake, S3, or AWS Glue.
Practical experience with Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL in scalable production environments.
Ability to modify and optimize data transformations.
Experience optimizing services and queries for performance and reliability.
Remote candidates must have a work-from-home setup.
Required desktop/laptop: 4th generation or higher Intel i3 or equivalent processor, at least 4GB RAM, and Windows 10+ or macOS.
Required equipment: dual monitors, a strong and stable wired internet connection of 10 Mbps or higher, a PC headset, and an HD webcam (720p or higher).
