Description

  • Develop, document, and maintain the EU library of warehouse SOPs for inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory management.
  • Conduct regular site audits to assess SOP compliance and produce findings reports with follow-up actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement and cost-optimization initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
  • Own inventory control and quality assurance programs, including cycle counts, wall-to-wall counts, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Define, audit, and report on KPI frameworks for operational performance across all EU sites.
  • Support local managers with root cause analysis and targeted improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners, Technology, and Transportation teams to align processes and deploy system enhancements.
  • Support new facility launches and process rollouts across the European network.
  • Develop training materials and deliver on-site process training for managers, supervisors, and warehouse operatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, fulfilment, or supply chain.
  • Experience in a 3PL, multi-site, or cross-country distribution center environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process design, SOP writing, and operational auditing.
  • Proven track record delivering continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, or 5S.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, returns, VAS, and inventory control operations.
  • Experience managing inventory control and cycle counting programs.
  • Proficiency with WMS platforms; Linnworks is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and translating operational data into insights.
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage and additional European languages are a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change without direct line authority.
  • College degree is not required.
