Description

  • Partner with Merchants, Planners, Finance, and Inventory teams to ensure purchase orders align with business rules.
  • Analyze data from Excel, Power BI, Process Street, and other tools to produce order-level recommendations and inform purchasing strategy.
  • Identify order patterns and risks early and lead conversations to resolve root causes.
  • Support process improvements that improve margin, reduce inventory risk, and streamline decision-making.
  • Optimize the approval process through data analysis and close stakeholder collaboration.
  • Turn operational data into actionable insights that support smarter and faster purchasing decisions.
  • Work across teams to keep orders aligned with margin goals and broader business objectives.

Requirements

  • 1.5–5 years of work experience since college, or 2+ years of internships, ideally in finance or business.
  • Strong academic performance, including a 3.5+ GPA preferred.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail, especially with margin, cost, and inventory calculations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including comfort with difficult conversations.
  • Tech-forward mindset with experience using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to automate repetitive work.
  • Ability to learn new platforms quickly, such as Asana, Notion, and Zapier.
  • Interest in learning SQL and Power BI.
  • Track record of growth and progression in prior roles.
  • College degree not required; non-linear career paths are welcome.
  • Must reside in one of the eligible states for the Work Your Way program.
