Description

  • Lead market expansion efforts in emerging regions by identifying and seizing growth opportunities and owning regional go-to-market activities.
  • Own and manage local provider relationships, including sourcing, onboarding, integrations, and ongoing relationship management to support market entry and growth.
  • Negotiate, draft, and manage commercial contracts with providers to secure favourable terms aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate and support compliance and certification requirements for providers, working closely with internal compliance, payments, and product teams.
  • Provide market intelligence by vetting new products, analysing competitive landscapes, and delivering insights that inform market entry and long-term strategy.
  • Act as the primary liaison between external providers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, aligned goals, and smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Navigate regulatory and contractual complexities (including restraints of trade), ensuring ethical and compliant business practices in each market.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a senior business development professional able to work independently after onboarding.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Experience driving market expansion and business development in emerging markets.
  • Experience managing provider integrations and meeting certification/regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with payments, compliance, and product teams in cross-functional settings.
  • Fluent in English plus either French or Portuguese (essential).
  • Location: South Africa preferred but candidates in other regions will be considered.
  • Experience within the Gaming sector is preferred (nice-to-have).
