Description

  • Write original K–12 math problems across arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra I and II, geometry, and pre-calculus with full worked solutions and answer keys.
  • Review existing library content for mathematical accuracy, clarity, difficulty calibration, and alignment to learning objectives.
  • Correct errors and flag problems that require rewrites.
  • Use AI models to draft problems, generate variants, and stress-test solutions while verifying every output.
  • Build problem sets with deliberate difficulty progression and well-timed misconceptions to support mastery.
  • Maintain consistent notation, formatting, and problem structure across the content library.
  • Collaborate with the academic lead to turn topic briefs and learning objectives into classroom-ready content on a set cadence.

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical rigor and a track record of producing correct problems and solutions without needing secondary verification.
  • Ability to create problems that teach conceptually, not just procedurally.
  • Professional-level experience using AI tools to generate, transform, and verify math content at volume.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a closely related quantitative field; advanced degrees are welcome.
  • Remote-ready setup with stable internet, a focused workspace, and comfort working asynchronously across time zones.
  • Ability to work fully remote from anywhere in the world and handle local tax and work authorization compliance.
  • Classroom, tutoring, or teaching assistant experience is preferred.
  • Background writing for a textbook publisher, test prep company, edtech platform, or olympiad program is preferred.
  • Competition math experience such as AMC, AIME, Putnam, or international olympiad participation is preferred.
  • LaTeX fluency is preferred, and multilingual capability is a plus.
