Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including TTS, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
  • Build and support backend services that meet business and scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
  • Help improve systems supporting payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is required.
  • Ability to move quickly from ideation to implementation and prioritize work by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and consistent delivery in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.
