Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including TTS, payment, subscription, auth, and consumption tracking services.
  • Oversee the backend API landscape and optimize systems for performance and maintainability.
  • Build backend services that meet business, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise client customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, flat organization.
  • Help shape backend systems across payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node is required.
  • Direct experience with GCP is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully distributed environment.
