Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech services.
  • Own and optimize the backend API landscape for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on customization and enterprise integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to backend services that support analytics, new products, and external APIs.
  • Participate in technical decision-making in a fast-paced, flat organization.
  • Deliver results quickly while maintaining strong technical quality and communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong work ethic and solid communication skills.
  • Experience building high-quality user experiences is valued.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
