Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for TTS, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions and help shape the direction of backend systems and features.
  • Prioritize tasks and deliver work efficiently based on urgency and impact.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is required.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and making product-oriented decisions is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic are important for this role.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments is preferred.
  • Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work by urgency and impact.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links are requested with the application.
