Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including TTS, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the backend API landscape and improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with enterprise clients, focusing on customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to backend services supporting payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Make strategic product and technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help shape a flat organization by delivering results consistently and quickly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to work efficiently from ideation through implementation and prioritize based on urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Comfort working in a 100% distributed, asynchronous environment.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested as part of the application.
