Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including the public TTS API and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and improve it for performance and maintainability.
  • Build backend services that meet business requirements and scale reliably.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise client customization and integrations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to backend services across payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node is required.
  • Direct experience with GCP is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments is preferred.
  • Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly distributed environment.
  • Experience making product decisions and building user experiences that delight users is a plus.
