Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech services.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support new products, analytics, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions, including customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
  • Help ensure backend systems meet business and scalability requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to move quickly from ideation to implementation and prioritize by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred: experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested with application.
