Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Help support growth from a large and expanding user base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning engineering for a product or major product area.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering an excellent user experience.
  • Thoughtful product judgment and ability to support internal teams and designers.
  • Ability to work quickly and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and operate effectively in a busy, remote startup environment.
  • Strong technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
