Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction and implementation.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.
  • Help support a large and growing user base through reliable product development.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning engineering work on a product.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to user experience.
  • Product thinking with the ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritize what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Strong knowledge of SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Ability to provide portfolio and LinkedIn links when applying.
