Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for Speechify’s iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Develop solutions that support a rapidly growing user base.
  • Contribute to fast-moving product development in a remote, distributed environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working on products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of contributing to products from inception through meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what should ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to know when to engage or work independently.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with Swift programming language.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required as part of the application.
