Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support new user growth and new product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction and owning the engineering work.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product-thinking mindset with the ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what to ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and operate effectively in a busy remote startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
  • Swift and SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
