Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support the app’s growth and user experience for a large and expanding audience.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through traction and ownership of product engineering.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and ship pragmatically.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth remote startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a flat organization.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with the Swift programming language.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
