Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
  • Work within a dedicated product team
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture
  • Contribute to new projects that support the app's continued growth
  • Support internal teams and designers in product direction
  • Help deliver a high-quality user experience for a large customer base

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction
  • Experience being responsible for engineering a product
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product decisions
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritize what can ship now versus later
  • Ability to stay focused in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment
  • Strong technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI
  • Experience with Swift programming language
  • Experience with multithreading programming
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure
  • Experience with Fastlane
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies
