Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for Speechify’s iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Contribute to fast-paced development cycles and help decide what ships now versus later.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning the engineering of a product end to end.
  • Strong customer focus and obsession with delivering the best possible experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and balance speed with quality.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure, including Fastlane.
  • Strong understanding of Git and different Git strategies.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested with application.
