Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to support product direction.
  • Contribute to rapid, high-quality delivery in a fast-paced remote environment.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning the engineering of a product or major product area.
  • Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Ability to make thoughtful product decisions and support teams in the right direction.
  • Comfort working quickly in a high-growth, remote startup environment.
  • Strong focus and ability to balance independent work with collaboration.
  • Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
