Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.
  • Contribute to fast-paced development cycles and rapid delivery of results.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required when applying.
  • Preferred/mentioned background in building and engineering products directly.
