Description

  • Participate in application analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, leaders, and vendors on strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain application stability, security, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.
  • Monitor project deliverables and timelines and escalate risks or issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for applications, infrastructure, dataflows, architecture, and technical procedures.
  • Support system integrations and accurate data movement between platforms.
  • Provide end-user support through issue triage, root-cause analysis, and coordination with vendors or senior analysts.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience with enterprise applications and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, engineering, mathematics, science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience upgrading and maintaining multiple applications.
  • Experience with technical documentation, presentation tools, and basic project or task management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and tools.
  • Ability to multitask across project milestones with limited supervision and support from team leads.
  • Ability to take ownership of departmental deliverables and contribute subject-matter expertise across multiple areas.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, customer-service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with SCADA, measurement technologies, instrumentation, field-level devices, Cygnet, Ignition, or Flowcal preferred.
  • Exposure to IoT, edge computing, data movement, polling, protocols, and real-time operational data streaming preferred.
