Description

  • Find new sources of audio data and bring them into the ingestion pipeline.
  • Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline.
  • Manage infrastructure currently running on GCP and maintained with Terraform.
  • Work closely with scientists to improve the cost, throughput, and quality of data collection.
  • Collaborate with the AI team and Speechify leadership to define the dataset roadmap.
  • Support the creation of larger-scale, lower-cost, higher-quality datasets for model training.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably GCP.
  • Experience with web crawlers is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
