Description

Find new sources of audio data and bring them into the ingestion pipeline.
Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline on GCP using Terraform.
Collaborate with scientists to improve the cost, throughput, and quality of data collection at scale.
Work with the AI team and Speechify leadership to shape the dataset roadmap for future consumer and enterprise products.
Support high-quality dataset creation for model training operations.
Contribute to building data infrastructure that can handle petabyte-scale datasets at low cost.

Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of industry experience in software development.
Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
Proficiency with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, with GCP used in this role.
Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
