Description

  • Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for core user flows and edge cases.
  • Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices for new features, bug fixes, and releases.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects.
  • Maintain organized QA documentation, including test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to triage and prioritize issues based on user impact.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Execute regression testing and release validation to ensure product quality and stability before launch.
  • Continuously improve manual QA processes, test coverage, and cross-functional communication.
  • Support root-cause analysis and clear communication of testing results and defects.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, with a strong focus on web applications.
  • Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and product teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to isolate root causes.
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for documenting defects and test results.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking and project management tools.
  • Experience using browser developer tools to assist with debugging and issue reproduction.
  • Experience with accessibility testing and familiarity with WCAG guidelines is preferred.
  • Familiarity with text-to-speech technologies or audio-based products is preferred.
  • Exposure to test automation tools, even if not responsible for building automation, is preferred.
  • Experience validating APIs using tools like Postman is preferred.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links are requested when applying.
