Description

  • Serve as the liaison between patients and therapists.
  • Schedule and facilitate patient visits and therapist appointments.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and handle online and general contact requests.
  • Accurately enter and maintain appointment and patient information.
  • Support clinic scheduling needs and help patients access required care.
  • Provide customer service to patients, peers, and management while promoting teamwork.
  • Handle patient health information in accordance with HIPAA and minimum-necessary standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant customer service experience is helpful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with a multiline phone system is helpful.
  • Must live in the tri-state area: New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut.
  • Must commute to Manhattan/NYC for approximately three weeks of initial training.
  • Must be available Monday through Friday for all rotating shifts: 7 a.m.–4 p.m., 8 a.m.–5 p.m., 9 a.m.–6 p.m., 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
  • Must have home internet speed of at least 300 Mbps and a quiet private workspace near the router.
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard and sit at a desk for 25–90% of the workday, communicate by telephone, and read computer screens.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
