Description

  • Drive end-to-end product compliance and global market access for Starlink hardware across EMC, safety, radio, and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate certification programs across multiple disciplines and geographies.
  • Collaborate with design teams to embed compliance requirements early in the development cycle.
  • Manage relationships with test labs, Notified Bodies, and certification agencies worldwide.
  • Own technical construction files and support global regulatory submissions.
  • Identify and resolve complex compliance issues across safety, EMC, RF, and materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in compliance and certification engineering; internship experience is applicable.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in product compliance engineering (preferred).
  • Broad experience across EMC, Product Safety, RF/Wireless, and Environmental compliance (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with FCC, CE, UL, IEC, EN, RED, RoHS, REACH, and related standards (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success certifying consumer electronics or telecommunications equipment for global markets (preferred).
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills (preferred).
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new regulations and standards (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical and regulatory topics for engineering audiences (preferred).
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.
