Description

  • Create highly reliable software systems that task remote sensor payloads on hundreds of satellites in low Earth orbit and process collected information.
  • Build an immersive earth observation experience for users in both office and field environments.
  • Take software from core problem definition through prototyping, development, testing, production rollout, and ongoing support.
  • Design software systems that are secure, reliable, and autonomous.
  • Develop tools that improve engineering efficiency across the software lifecycle.
  • Work on vehicle systems across every phase of development.
  • Own the full lifecycle of the software you create, including development, testing, and operational support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or another STEM discipline; or 2+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Development experience in C# and TypeScript, or equivalent full stack software development experience.
  • Experience developing software used in real-world applications and projects (preferred).
  • Knowledge of web services and networks (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS or building in cloud environments (preferred).
  • Experience developing in Linux server environments, including SSH, scripting, and configuration (preferred).
  • Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration frameworks (preferred).
  • Experience with Service Workers and IndexedDB (preferred).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or implementing highly performant databases (preferred).
  • Experience with image data processing and machine learning (preferred).
  • Experience with graphics-intensive web application development (preferred).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $125,000–$150,000 for Level 1 and $145,000–$175,000 for Level 2.
  • Eligibility for long-term incentives, including company stock or long-term cash awards.
