Description

  • Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and key destruction procedures.
  • Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units, including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite.
  • Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight.
  • Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present updates to leadership.
  • Determine work priorities independently and identify creative security solutions that protect national security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field.
  • 2+ years of experience with CNSSI 4005 and 4001, NCSM Vol. 2, NSA/CSS Manual 3-16, and related COMSEC policies and procedures (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience with systems such as iApp, Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), CARDS, CORE, and DIAS (preferred).
  • Experience preparing security deliverables and identifying creative solutions that protect national security (preferred).
  • Strong ability to work across departments and interface effectively with customer counterparts (preferred).
  • Experience presenting to leadership and determining work priorities independently (preferred).
  • Must be willing to work in a classified environment.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.

  • Pay range of $85,000–$115,000 for Level 1 and $105,000–$135,000 for Level 2.
