Description

  • Help prospective customers understand how Sonar’s Clean as You Code approach fits into their software development lifecycle.
  • Drive the technical aspects of pre-sales opportunities through presentations, demonstrations, and product evaluations.
  • Advise customers on the best alignment of Sonar’s solution with their preferred deployment strategy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered by prospects during product evaluation.
  • Support successful product adoption and growth after purchase in partnership with Customer Success and Support.
  • Help existing customers understand additional capabilities available in advanced product editions.
  • Provide technical enablement to channel partners to improve their level of service.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Development teams by sharing customer feedback on product messaging and evolution.

Requirements

  • Proven practical experience in software development or DevOps engineering is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of local and cloud-based deployment platforms and technologies, including Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
  • Ability to deliver compelling demonstrations that help people understand software solutions.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems, troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and communicate them clearly in verbal and written form.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, including giving and receiving feedback and sharing knowledge.
  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to challenge the status quo and contribute to improvements and innovations.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Additional language skills are highly desirable.
