Description

  • Engage in strategic advisory discussions with CTOs, chief architects, and VP-level technology leaders at major global accounts and partners.
  • Represent Sonar as a senior spokesperson at industry conferences, webinars, executive briefings, and with press and industry analysts.
  • Leverage an executive network to create strategic engagements for Sonar leadership and support key technology partnerships.
  • Lead the creation of technical content such as whitepapers, reference architectures, and advanced blog posts.
  • Identify industry trends and translate executive insights into input for Product Management, GTM, and Architecture teams.
  • Support complex sales cycles by delivering technical validation, tailored architectural walkthroughs, and proofs of concept.
  • Act as a technical multiplier by mentoring TA and SE teams and helping with technical recruiting.
  • Provide high-level architectural guidance and ecosystem coordination for complex client initiatives.
  • Use customer engagements to inform and help shape product roadmap and GTM strategy.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in software development, solutions architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior strategic technology leadership role such as Divisional CTO or VP Solutions Architect at a major global enterprise or leading technology company.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical advisory role such as Field CTO, Solutions Architect, or Technical Advisory at a major cloud provider or global technology institution.
  • Deep expertise and thought leadership in SDLC, AI, large-scale application security, and modern engineering practices.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to C-level audiences.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
  • Global mindset and willingness to be externally facing and internally consultative.
  • Frequent travel to customer sites and company offices is required.
  • Experience with strategic technology partnerships is preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive enablement and high-level advisory work is preferred.
