Description

  • Lead and negotiate commercial agreements with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, imaging centers, vendors, technology partners, and strategic counterparties.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements covering diagnostic imaging services, software, data use, business associate relationships, partnerships, and procurement.
  • Advise on healthcare regulations including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, FDA matters, and applicable state and federal requirements.
  • Partner with clinical, product, technology, and business teams on legal issues related to new services, products, partnerships, AI, and healthcare technology.
  • Provide practical legal guidance while managing regulatory, contractual, and operational risk.
  • Advise on employment, corporate, governance, compliance, and general business matters.
  • Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks.
  • Manage outside counsel and specialized legal support strategically.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 12+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Meaningful experience in healthcare, digital health, medical technology, healthcare technology, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong experience with healthcare regulations, including Anti-Kickback, Stark Law, HIPAA, or FDA-related matters.
  • Significant commercial contracting experience, including independently structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Experience with hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, healthcare providers, or healthcare technology companies is highly desirable.
  • Experience advising on AI, medical technology, digital health, or other regulated technology is preferred.
  • Broad legal judgment and ability to handle corporate, employment, compliance, and general business matters.
  • Strong business acumen, communication skills, pragmatism, and ability to advise effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Benefits

  • Base salary of approximately $340,000–$350,000, depending on experience.
  • Eligibility for an annual bonus.
  • Meaningful stock grant as part of the compensation package.
