Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services for engineering teams.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the internal developer platform.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Drive adoption of infrastructure best practices, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers to foster technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders and principal engineers to improve developer experience.
  • Work across engineering, product, marketing, risk, compliance, data science, operations, legal, and executive teams to define and prioritize platform strategy.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve the platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 15+ years of software development experience.
  • Significant experience with cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
  • Deep expertise in public cloud platforms, with AWS preferred and GCP or Azure also relevant.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Ability to operate with clear objectives but limited, ambiguous, or varied direction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
