Description

  • Own end-to-end concepting and design for marketing projects across digital channels, including email, in-app messages, social posts, branding campaigns, lead generation assets, digital video, and display banners.
  • Create marketing materials that support fast-growing products and brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a copywriter partner on brief vision and campaign storytelling.
  • Produce visually engaging work for both consumer-facing and enterprise-facing audiences.
  • Test, iterate, and optimize design solutions to improve business results.
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to improve day-to-day creative workflow efficiency.
  • Work closely with creative, web, and development teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and strategy.
  • Champion the SoFi brand and user experience while helping shape the brand narrative.
  • Contribute to a close-knit in-house Creative Studio producing award-winning marketing and advertising work.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an art director at an ad agency, in-house creative department, or freelancing for major brands.
  • Strong, well-rounded portfolio demonstrating beautiful, effective work and advanced conceptual and craft skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and iterate on multiple design options based on feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines and solve complex creative problems with limited guidance.
  • Strong comfort with data-driven testing and iteration.
  • Experience collaborating with product marketers, product designers, brand strategists, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Self-motivated and able to support both independent work and team collaboration.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as FinTech or Insurance is a plus.
  • Advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects for simple motion graphics is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Substance for 3D asset creation is a plus.
  • Experience with generative AI software is a plus.
