Description

  • Own the end-to-end pricing strategy and roadmap for SoFi’s $30B+ Personal Loan business, balancing growth, credit performance, capital efficiency, and compliance.
  • Manage and develop a team of data scientists and analysts, setting standards for analytical rigor, governance, and execution discipline.
  • Define and run pricing experimentation and A/B testing across segments to drive revenue growth, profitability, and portfolio optimization.
  • Partner with Risk and Capital Markets to optimize risk-return tradeoffs and portfolio yield and incorporate capital and regulatory constraints into pricing.
  • Establish frameworks and KPIs to measure volume, conversion, Weighted Average Coupon (WAC), Return on Assets (ROA), Lifetime Value (LTV), cost of acquisition (CAC), and other pricing metrics.
  • Serve as the senior pricing voice in executive discussions, pricing committees, and product launches, influencing Product, Risk, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Represent Pricing in major technology and platform initiatives and influence prioritization and resource allocation for pricing projects.
  • Coach and develop future pricing leaders, own prioritization decisions across pricing initiatives, and ensure operational feasibility of pricing changes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in consumer lending, fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • 7+ years in pricing, strategy, analytics, or risk-related leadership roles.
  • 5+ years leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • M.B.A., B.S., or M.S. in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required.
  • Deep understanding of consumer credit risk, portfolio performance, and pricing levers.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling methods used in price optimization.
  • Experience with data processing tools and languages such as Python, PySpark, R, SQL, and SAS.
  • Experience working with large-scale portfolio data and building decision frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of revenue drivers, cost structures, and profitability metrics (e.g., ROA, WAC, CAC).
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, translate complex analytics into clear business narratives, and operate in regulated environments with awareness of fair lending and compliance considerations.
  • Preferred: prior experience in digital lending and prior experience in pricing analytics and modeling; knowledge of Tableau and other data visualization tools is preferred.
