Description

  • Investigate escalated employee concerns, resolve employee relations issues, and provide recommendations and guidance to the business.
  • Coach front-line managers on performance management, employee development, inclusive team environments, and other HR-related topics.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions).
  • Identify training needs for individuals and managers, partner with Learning & Development, and deliver HR-related training.
  • Partner with People Business Partners (PBPs) on offboarding, conduct exit interviews, analyze qualitative and quantitative attrition data, and drive change based on trends.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for employee concerns, exercising high judgment and managing through ambiguity.
  • Advocate for employee success by designing and supporting end-to-end employee experiences that promote engagement and inclusion.
  • Promote adoption of HR technology, self-service, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant HR experience.
  • Foundational understanding of talent and performance management processes and systems.
  • Experience coaching managers through performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, and handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Agility and adaptability; able to be flexible and resilient in changing situations.
  • Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt employee populations (nice to have).
  • HRIS and Workday experience (nice to have); experience in HR within Tech or Financial Services companies (nice to have).
